This may be the only HS class site on the internet that will show photographs of most of us as we grew, changed, evolved over a thirteen year period. I would like to expand the collection to include party pictures, candids, family pictures that you think are appropriate, sports, images from elementary school, extracurricular activities whatever you think is appropriate.
We are also interested in photographs of later years, early family pictures, children, birthday parties, you name it.
If you have not scanned them into low resolution JPGs, or do not know what I am talking about, send the images to me via the post office or Fed Ex. I will scan them, post them, take good care of them, and mail them back to you as soon as they are scanned.
Lois Lombardi Ciampo is sending me a DVD with files from the 70th birthday party. That's a good way to do it. You can take your originals to Staples or Kinko's or a photography store -- even some drug stores do this -- who will scan the images for you and put them on a DVD.

This is more than a labor of love for me. It is a way for me and you to recapture who we were in our school days. To remember faces and stories -- a legacy. I have been passing along photographs from these series to my grand daughters.
My first published book was called The Yearbook Book. It was a compilation of high school yearbook photographs of famous and infamous people (Ballantine Books 1977). I dedicated the book to our class. And thus began one of my many obsessions. Yearbook photographs -- ours and others -- has been a source for a series of paintings I started 4 years ago. Here is one which draws upon photographs of college fraternities and sororities. Who knows, you may end up in one of my paintings. Thanks.
