I am totally moved...

...by the response, well wishes, and love expressed from classmates regarding my daughter's accident. Words cannot explain how I felt when so many of you emailed me or made a posting to Amy via Caringbridge.com. I am grateful for all the reconnections since our 50th reunion.

Amy is at Helen Hayes Hospital in West Haverstraw. She is still in the sub-acute care ward as she is not eligible for rehab until she has two functional limbs. She is healing from a variety of broken and shattered bone injuries. This will take several more months. She has been on her back in bed since 11/28. We are hoping that the cast will come off of her left arm in a couple of days. She may get a walking cast on her left leg in a couple of weeks. She is still in pain and receiving pain medication. Her spirit is good and she is determined to get out of the hospital and back to her life. The prognosis is excellent.
