The reunion was a huge success. Some of us have been talking about how to keep the energy, spirit and reconnections alive.
This is a great place to post messages, comments, photographs, etc. Our blog will be set up so that only those who are members may see it. The only way to become a member is to be invited.
I plan to invite everyone whose e-mail address is known to us to become a member of the blog. Each person who accepts the invitation will be sent a set of instructions from Blogger who is the host of this site. Just follow the instructions. It should take less than ten minutes even for the computer challenged. You will need a Google ID to take full advantage of all of the features.
Once you are a member of the blog you may visit and post at any time.
The blog's address is:
www.fairlawnhighschool.blogspot.com
If you wish to post a message click on new post which you will find in the upper right hand corner of the window. A new window will appear. Type your post there, type in a title, and click on publish post to send it to the blog.
Never blogged before? Come on. Give it a try.
There are other choices if you wish to change the size of the type or color or center it or... Or just let the default take over.
If you wish to post a photograph (must be jpeg) go to the new post window. You will see a set of icons above the message window. You will see two small squares. The one on the left is for posting pictures. Click on it.
A window appears which asks you if you would like to browse your computer for the image. This will take you to Finder on the MAC and whatever it is called in Windows. Click on the file and its locations will appear in the browse window. Click on the orange tab called publish this image. And as Doc Kamins would say, Voila!
If you want to see a larger version of the photograph, click on it.
If you would like to comment, scroll down to the bottom of any posting and you will see the word comments. Click on it and follow the instructions.
If you get stuck, call me and I will guide you through it.
Thanks,
Mike

How many people can you recognize in this picture?

I identified; mike summers, joel gold, bobby shectman, irwin shwartz, andy bruno, carl ventricelli, and maybe don nanfeldt. Could you tell me the rest? Gwen
Great idea Mike. Love that picture. The 50 yr Reunion was the best one yet. Everyone looked great. I'm really looking forward to our next one. I still can't get over how Judy pulled this all together and kept the price so low (I would have paid twice the amount if I knew the weekend was going to be so good). May everyone continue to enjoy good health (give or take a few aches and pains). Lets do another at 55. Allan
This is a great way for the great Class of 57 to stay in touch and keep the momentum of our fantastic weekend going on and on. Garry Schadewald said it best "The memories are like fine wine they get better with age"
JUST A TEST MESSAGE! I'VE NEVER DONE THIS BEFORE BUT I THINK IT IS FANTASTIC THAT WE HAVE OUR OWN WEBSITE!
WHAT A MAGNIFICENT REUNION WE HAD. EVERYONE IS STILL ON A HIGH FROM SUCH A FABULOUS WEEKEND. I SPOKE TO JUDY AND WE ARE HOPING TO HAVE A GATHERING ONCE A YEAR. NOT ON SUCH A GRAND SCALE AS OUR 50TH BUT JUST A PLACE WHERE WE COULD ALL MEET FOR A WEEKEND OF FUN.
LOOKING FORWARD TO KEEPING IN TOUCH WITH MY CLASSMATES ON THIS SITE.
THANKS, JEAN SIMPSON, FOR SENDING THE GREAT PICTURES!

I almost did not attend, but Jackie insisted. So glad I did; it was great seeing everyone. The more things change, the more they stay the same. We were a great class in so many of the things we did and attempted to do. Sally Abraham/Ginsberg
Mike: It was wonderful to see so many of our class in attendance! Many fond memories were brought to mind and old friendships (I hope) renewed. Yes, Judy and her crew did one heck of a fine job planning and executing a wonderful weekend. By the way, at first glance, I was only able to recognize two people in the photo (Irwin and you!) and, honestly, was able to recognize a few more after having read Gwen's blog. Thanks for a great idea!!
